Eddie & George Wake Up in Tusayan

Eddie and George woke up early today - when the sun rose, before 6:00!  They started their walkabout before anyone was even peeping out of their RV's.

First they decided to walk up into the forest, and they discovered a huge ponderosa pine (Eddie commented that it smelled like butterscotch):

They wanted to walk over and explore a little canyon, but as they neared the edge, there was a small herd of elk.  One bachelor was sauntering by as Eddie & George peered over the edge.  You can also see an older male elk with a huge rack behind the backside of the elk in the foreground:

This much nature was almost too much for them to stand, so they turned back and strolled into the village.  After having their morning coffee, they played tourist.  Here they are, proving they're at the Grand Canyon:

And what tour of the Grand Canyon is complete without an IMAX movie and a Pink Jeep Tour?

They finished their morning walk with breakfast at the Yippie-Ei-Oh! Steakhouse:
