Camp Sharktooth - Cape Code - Blueberry Edition

 July 13 and 14, 2011

Hi Blog!

While we were still in Cape Cod, we made arrangements to pick up our grandson, William, so he could experience a week of RV summer camp along the coast of Maine. We met his parents halfway between Philadelphia and South Dennis, Massachusetts. Here are Weina and William and a slice of pizza from a Slice of Stamford in Connecticut.

William entertained us on the car ride back to Cape Cod.

We discovered the perfect book for a nine year old boy:

Once we made it back to camp, Kathy took William over to her favorite wild blueberry patch. William was amazed that you could just walk out into the woods and find blueberries!

The pair made sure to only pick the ripest berries.

Before long, they had enough to make a batch of blueberry pancakes!

Not all the blueberries made it back to camp.

Our move to Moody Beach RV Campground in Wells, Maine was fueled by super, duper wild blueberry pancakes complete with Vermont maple syrup!

The next 10 days will be more Camp Sharktooth - The Road Trip Edition! Stay tuned.
