Eddie & George Wake Up and Score a Hat Trick in Gaffney, SC

Eddie and George woke up this morning in a very beautiful campground in Gaffney, SC.  Gaffney's two claims to fame are (1) its the home of the Freightliner motor home factory, and (2) it is the jumping-off point to the Cowpens National Battlefied nearby.  Oh, yeah, and it's also the home of an "oid"ity that will be the subject of another blog entry.

The boys goal this morning was to run over and feed the goats kept by the campground owners.  As they started their walk across the campground, they encountered this lovely bunch of colorful spring bulbs.  They just had to stop and smell the tulips:

 The boys get easily distracted.  Not 200 steps further, they spotted this happy steam engine and had to hitch a ride:

Finally, after several detours, the boys reached their goal.  Here they are feeding the goats.  Oh, and the chickens dropped by to peck up any scraps:
