What Are Eddie and George Up to NOW?

Eddie and George woke up this morning at the Fayetteville/Wade KOA Campground in Wade, North Carolina.  As soon as the sun was up, the dynamic duo struck out on the campground hiking trail where they decided to take a dip in the pond.  After a few laps, they hauled themselves up on the bank to take five.

After their dip, they proceeded to inspect the campground, stopping at the doggy agility course to make sure the equipment was up to the task.  Here are Eddie and George putting the teeter totter to good use.

This part of North Carolina is very flat. We drove past a number of turf farms. We love the open feeling of our campground.

We spent the rest of the day getting chores done - grocery shopping, laundry, generator maintenance. We had a campfire cookout. You haven't had brussels sprouts until you have had them roasted over a campfire, along with sirloin steak, medium rare. Oh, did I mention the local wine from Virginia?
