Musings

We often miss things our loved ones try to tell us because we are too busy, or distracted, or there is too much "noise" in our daily lives. In this way, we can miss opportunities to aid loved ones, to help others, to grow, and to achieve greater happiness.

What if there are others who love us and who require an even more attendant listening in order to hear them because their voices are fainter? How do we hope to hear what they might tell us? Must we quiet ourselves and our lives even more than we need to do in order to hear the loving words of the physical ones around us? Can we even hope to do that before we have quieted ourselves enough to hear the physical voices?
